The Day the Wombs Went Silent (update)

 

The Voice was strong and persistent; like a small flame in the darkest night, it flickered with hope and truth. 

It never gave up, no matter how hard the other voices attempted to stifle it,  and shut it down.  It knew what it was created to do, and so it moved with the Light, steadily navigating its way through the dark powers that tore into its flesh.
