Written On the Palms of His Hands

Isaiah 49:15-16- 15/âCan a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.â 16/âBehold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My handsââŠ
Have you ever stopped to wonder if God really cares about you or everything thatâs happening in your life? Does He see you when youâre hurting or when the challenges of life become too overwhelming? Does He even hear you when you are begging for help or crying out in pain? Does He hear your prayers? The answer to all these questions and more is YES! Throughout scripture in the Old and New Testaments you can see the signature of His love on all His creation. However, mankind was set apart in the very beginning. Out of all His creation, we were each uniquely made in His image.Â
Genesis 1:27-So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
This is Godâs greatest love for us; He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, Who is God in the flesh of a man, Who came into this world to take upon Himself the sins of the world. There is no greater sacrifice known to man than the ultimate price Jesus paid on the Cross for all of mankind. Through the blood He shed when He was crucified on the cross, He made the way of forgiveness, redemption, and salvation for our sins. Jesus defeated Death, Hell, and the Grave when He was buried and risen from the grave on the third day. He was seen by many people and especially by His disciples. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of His Father in heaven. A day is coming when He will unexpectedly appear in the clouds with a shout of an archangel and with the trumpet of God. Those who have chosen to believe and receive Him as Lord and Savior into their hearts, both the dead in Christ who have gone before us, and we who are left on the earth, will go up in the rapture to be with Him in heaven forever.
Colossians 1:15-20, 22 ESV-âHe is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authoritiesâall things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything He might be preeminent. For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of His cross. He has now reconciled in His body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before Him,â
John 1:1-5 ESV-âIn the beginning was the Word [Jesus], and the Word [Jesus] was with God, and the Word [Jesus] was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.â
Isaiah 53:3-5 ESV-âHe was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds we are healed.â  Â
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 ESV-âFor this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.â
Letâs take a look at what God says about how much He loves us in His scriptures. His Word is His truth and we are encouraged to read and study it diligently for within His Word lies the very heart of God. Remember, I mentioned above that He will never forget us and not only are we written on the palms of His hands, but He also promises that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Let these scriptures embed themselves into your heart so you know without a doubt how extremely important you are to Him. He desires that you be born again by believing in His Son, Jesus Christ by putting your faith and trust in Him. I encourage you today to ask Jesus to forgive you of all your sins and to come live inside your heart to be your Lord and Savior forevermore. He promises to erase all your sins and remember them no more when you repent and accept Him into your life. Your sins are washed away as far as the east is to the west. Then, get a Bible, read His word, and apply it to your life. I would suggest starting with the New Testament so you learn Who Jesus is and then ,read the book of Psalms and Proverbs which will teach you how God wants you to live in obedience to Him.Â
John 3:16-18 ESV-âFor God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because He has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.â
1 John 4:16, 18-19 ESV-âSo we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because He first loved us.â
Jeremiah 31:3 NKJV-âThe Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: âYes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.â
Zephaniah 3:17 NIV-âThe Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.â
Ephesians 2:4-5 NIV-âBut because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressionsâit is by grace you have been saved.â
Psalms 86:15 NIV-âBut you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.â
Romans 8:37-39 NIV-âNo, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.â
Isaiah 54:10 NIV-âThough the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,â says the Lord, who has compassion on you.â
Romans 5:8 NIV-âBut God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.â
Psalms 136:26 NIV-âGive thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever.â
1 John 3:1 NIV-âSee what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.â
Deuteronomy 7:9 NIV-âKnow therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments.â
Romans 5:5 NIV-âAnd hope does not put us to shame, because Godâs love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.â
Psalms 136:1 NIV-âGive thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever.â
I hope that you will want to know the deep, unending and precious love God has so graciously poured out into our hearts. For those who have chosen Him as Lord of their life, God has promised to guard over us always. He is the perfect Father who lifts us up when we fall. He is the friend that sticks closer than a brother. Â His word says, "I wish that none would perish." Â He numbers the hairs on our heads and places all our tears in a bottle. Â There is NO love as perfect and trustworthy as His love. Â God's compassion for His children is new every morning. Â He directs our paths and establishes our way before Him. Â His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Â His goodness and mercy follows us all the days of our life and we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. God knows everything about us and invites us to come know Him. Â He knows every thought before it comes to mind, He knows what we are going to say before we say it and knows every action we are going to take before it happens. Â He is the Great I Am, The Almighty One, The King of all Kings and the Lord of all Lords. Â His love is pure and unshakable. Â He continues to reach out to every living soul and adores His creation. Â There is no battle in your life too great for Him to defeat on your behalf. Â You are precious in His eyes. Â No matter what you are going through or what kind of life you live, He is reaching out His righteous right hand to you today asking you to just come as you are and trust Him and let Him take care of it all for you. Â He says in Matthew 12:28-30, "Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, Â and you will find rest for your souls. Â For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Â He can pick you up out of the muck you may be trapped in. Â The Bible says, "With God all things are possible". Â You are never too far away or too far gone that He cannot reach you and bring you into His love and protection. Â Let God show you the way. Â He is waiting for you today. Â Remember, you are written on the palms of His hands.
