Run your race in this life and press toward the finish line, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of your faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross and finished. What obstacles are you facing in your race?

The obstacles I face are daily and come from the enemy/the devil who comes to steal, kill, and destroy my joy, hope, and peace in my family and my daily walk with the Lord. The devil is always working to bring pain and chaos in our lives. We will have to walk through trials and pain and temptation while on this earth. However, our Hope is only found in Jesus. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, Yahweh has promised that He will never place upon us more than we can handle. Through each trial, we become stronger, more resilient, and our Faith is built up in His Word. He can make something beautiful from all those ashes and broken pieces if you will let Him help you and not give up. Jesus said, we are never alone! He has promised to be with us always. Every obstacle will pass away in time and then, we will step out on the other side with Jesus leading the way and holding our hands.
The obstacle of uncertainty that the race I run is the race I was signed up for .. or assigned to run. I do not enjoy running races. I was never athletic enough to sustain a tolerable endurance. I enjoy walking and biking, leisurely paced to include the enjoyment of a scenic landscape and sounds of nature. I will finish my journey, just not in the same way or at the same pace as my fellow sojourners.
